YOU can self-publish your book this year --
and you don't have to do it alone!

There’s nothing more frustrating than learning something new without a manual, without someone to ask. The great thing about self-publishing today is that all the information you need to do it yourself is out there...on hundreds and thousands of blogs and websites throughout cyberspace.

The problem is trying to find the information you need quickly and easily.

Your How-to Guide to Self-Publishing is the answer to your problem.

Imagine, not too long from now, hitting the “Publish” button late one night and waking up the next morning to see your book on Amazon! Even better – imagine your first sale!

But there is one thing even better than that – the first time a reader you’ve never met tells you they stayed up half the night finishing your book! Or they laughed more than they have in a long time. Or they were too scared to turn out the lights. There is nothing better than that feeling of pure joy and accomplishment.

You’ve got a book and the courage to publish it yourself.

Now you just need someone to help you along the way.

I’ve taught Your How-to Guide to Self-Publishing to over 100 people already. Many of them have one or more books for sale now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Kobo, and other retailers.

Soon your books could be selling at those outlets, too!

I’ve been self-publishing since 2011, in ebook, print book, and audiobook formats. I’ve learned through trial and error and hours of frustration. But I wrote everything down so that every time I published a new book, I could make the process smoother and faster.

Then I combined fifteen-plus years in business and finance, a master’s degree in creative writing, and my experience teaching at a business college, and I put together a course to help people like you, saving you time and frustration as you take this final step to make your dream come true.

And the best part is – you won’t be alone.

Not only will you get all of the information you need to self-publish your book, if you stumble - even for the sixth, tenth, or twentieth time - I’ll be there to cheer you on and help you keep going. If you want to do this, you can! (I’ll even tell you how to hire other people to do the heavy lifting!)

You're Considering Self-Publishing
But You Don't Know What's Involved

Perhaps you have friends who are self-publishing their books. You've heard their stories of frustration and confusion as they try to figure out how to create a high-quality ebook and print book.

Or you know someone who felt they were fleeced by a company offering to help them publish their book for "only" a few thousand dollars.

This doesn't have to be you! If you are happy to learn some new skills, I can teach you how to self-publish your books efficiently yourself. If you find that you'd rather hire someone else to do one or more steps for you, I'll make sure you completely understand what you're hiring someone to do and give you a list of reputable people to call.

What You'll Get From the Course

  • 5 Modules and Growing
There are currently 5 modules/lessons broken into 47 short topics so you can focus on one small chunk of information at a time. More lessons and topics will be added as I find more tips and tricks to share with you. (I already have several ideas in process!) Longer videos will take you through the upload process for each site so you can pause the video and follow along as you upload your books.
  • Private Facebook Group
Ask questions, share experiences, find cheerleaders or accountability partners, bounce ideas around, and celebrate your successes! I’ll check in regularly to answer any questions you may have.
  • Regular Group Coaching Calls
I'll host regular live video calls (weekly through September 26, then twice a month) to go over the nuances of each lesson and answer questions. All calls will be recorded and added to the premium content area available to all members at the More Please! and Two Are Better Than One tiers.
  • Personal Call with Kitty
If you join with a friend at the Two Are Better Than One tier, each of you will get a private, recorded video call with me to discuss your needs and develop a personal publishing plan. This will save you time and frustration, and you'll be able to refer back to it as often as you like.
  • Video, Audio, Text - For Every Learning Style
To make sure you are learning in the style that best suits you, the course will include video segments, audio-only downloads, written lectures, worksheets, and checklists. This is particularly helpful when it’s 3 or 6 or 12 months between books. And you'll have lifetime access to all of it!

What People Are Saying About the Course

John Doe UI/UX Designer

I am so glad I took Kitty's class. It was easy to follow and very thorough. It really made me think about what kind of self-published writer I want to be. The business and marketing tips are adaptable to any business. I took her class shortly before I released my first book and when it was done, I was ready to hit "publish." This course is a must for anyone considering self-publishing.

Tracy Reed, author of Generational Curse

The class covered way more information than I would've thought to ask about, that's for sure! It was enlightening. Even though there was information I didn't think I would end up using, I think it's important to research all of the options out there. So all in all, I would definitely recommend this class and will be revisiting all of the lectures in the near future.

I joined up knowing absolutely nothing about how to self-publish, and it's so nice to have a step-by-step guideline. With so much information, it's easy to be overwhelmed, but Kitty made it easy to follow.

Is This Course Right for You?

Your How-to Guide to Self-Publishing isn't for everyone. I've tried to break it down to show who is likely to love it and who might hate it. You might fall somewhere in the middle. If you're not sure, email me and we'll talk about it.

WHO MIGHT LOVE IT!

  • You love learning new things and think DIY projects are fun
  • You like the option of doing some parts yourself, and hiring out other bits
  • You love interacting with others who are on the same path
  • You're not afraid of "tech stuff" - or at least you're willing to give it a go

WHO MIGHT HATE IT

  • You don't have time to learn new things right now
  • You'd prefer someone else to do it all for you anyway
  • Too much talking and chatting makes you impatient, you just want the facts
  • You don't really enjoy learning new "tech stuff"
Publish Your Book in 60 Days

You will learn how to turn your completed manuscript into a book for sale on Amazon and other sites in 60 days or less. If you go through all the lessons and you can't get your book up for sale on at least one retail site, I'll refund your money. I'm that confident I can help you.

Here's the Deal...

This is the final round of beta testing for the course. You're getting a lower price because I'm continuing to develop all of the lessons and topics. You get to share what you think is working - or not - and make suggestions for improvements or new topics I haven't yet included. This is truly going to be your course! Forever.

I also put together a multi-pay plan for each of the tiers so that no matter who you are, you can afford the course. That's important to me. This is not a subscription; it's a financing plan so you can get started right away (so you don't miss out on the bonuses). If you finance the cost of the course, you'll be paying monthly only during your finance period. No additional fees!

There is no arbitrary cut-off date to close the course, but the bonuses are only available during the Early Bird period through August 15, 2016. If your friends told you about the course, I want you to be able to come sign up anytime you want. However, registration will close for a short while when the class size reaches 50 new students. I had over 60 students in my last class, and I didn't feel I could give quality individual attention to everyone with a larger class. I want to be sure you're getting what you pay for, so when enrollments hit 50, I'll close the course for a few months until everyone has gotten all the help they need. Then I'll re-open it for a new group of students. This process will help me help you succeed!

Writers Helping Riders -
Another Way to Change the World, One Person at a Time

There's one more piece to all of this that is particularly dear to my heart. My sister Bonnie is an occupational therapist, and she owns and runs CHUM Therapeutic Riding in Michigan. When we're together and someone asks what I do, when I say "writer" it sounds like "rider" and they sometimes think I do what Bonnie does. But Bonnie helps children and adults recover from accidents, and she helps people get stronger despite debilitating disease. She helps kids walk. As a novelist, I "just" entertain.

I've always been interested in philanthropy, and some friends suggested I could take the leap and decide to give to charity now, not wait until I have enough money that giving it away is "easy." So I'm leaping! And I'm taking you with me!

For every student who signs up for Your How-to Guide to Self-Publishing, Write Now Workshop will donate 10% of the student fees to CHUM Therapeutic Riding. That's just about one paid therapy session for every student in the Do It Yourself Tier, two paid sessions per student in the More Please tier, and almost three paid sessions for every student duo in the Two Are Better Than One tier!

I believe that books can change the world. I believe they already have! And now we can help improve the lives of a few children, too. We can help parents who can barely afford all the expenses related to their children's special needs to breathe a little bit easier for a minute. The very act of you signing up for this class will help change the world in a small but beautiful way! I hope this makes you feel as good as it does me! Thanks for being a part of it! (And to see the most amazing pictures and videos, click over to CHUM's website. You'll be glad you did.)

About the Instructor

In addition to writing romantic comedies and superhero urban fantasy, Kitty is a total geek for anything related to brains. (No, she's not a zombie.) She loves reading about how to improve organizational and time management skills, and studying how to use our brains to improve every area of our lives.

In 2011, she decided to combine her undergraduate degree in business, her years of experience in accounting and finance, and her Master of Arts degree in creative writing to become a writer-turned-independent-publisher. Though her husband thinks she just likes to be the center of attention, Kitty thoroughly enjoys sharing what she's learned with others, which is why she teaches as often as she can.
